Who runs the camp programme?

Pine Lake camp and training centre is owned by Foundation Matters, a registered charity (no.1107662) and is overseen by a board of trustees.

The Pine Lake team are committed christians and run all aspects of the camp programme, meaning any visiting group leaders who attend can focus their time on building relationships with their group.

Kit list.

Please pay close attention to the kit list on the website. To enjoy your holiday to the full it is essential that you bring all the items listed.

How is christianity explained?

The christian message is taught in a similar way to Religious Education lessons and school assemblies. What we believe is explained using phrases such as "Christians believe...", "the Bible says..." or "as a christian I believe". Our aim is for school groups to leave knowing what christians believe and to give them the opportunity to ask why christians believe what they do.

Comments & feedback.

We welcome your comments and positive feedback about your camp/ holiday. If there is a problem please write to us immediately and we will do our best to rectify the issue.

Terms & Conditions.

We expect everyone who goes on the holiday to be fully involved in every aspect of the programme. Foundation Matters reserves the right to refuse any applications and to alter or cancel a holiday where necessary.

Personal audio equipment and mobile phones will not be permitted on some camps.

Staff and group leaders have access to phones in the case of emergency.

What does the price include?

The price includes full board and accommodation and all activities. The camps and holidays are offered at greatly reduced prices because all staff at the centre do not receive a salary but look to the Lord for their provision.

The price covers the cost of the food only, it does not cover the total cost of the camp. All our camps are subsidised by supporters to keep the price affordable to all.

How can I support Pine Lake?

We offer places at the lowest price possible to make our camps and holidays available to all.

If you would like to support the work we do please see our 'Give' page. Foundation Matters is able to receive tax efficient gifts to make your support go further.

Are there reduced rate camp places available?

Yes. We are able to offer subsidised places at our discretion. Many people give to Foundation Matters to make this possible. Please contact us for more information.

If you wish to give to subsidise a place for a child please see our 'Give' Page
