Full planning permission was granted in 2008 and the Lord has provided funds so we now have the main centre plus a managers home, office and storage space.
Within the original ten acre grounds we have a lake, sports pitches and woodland walk.
This phase was completed in 2014.
Obtain an additional 45 acre plot of land and a livery, adjacent to the current 10 acre site.
Completing this will allow us to develop other activities such as pony trekking, mountain biking, climbing, high/ Low Ropes courses, pitch and put, fishing lake etc.
A sum of £400,000 has been agreed for the land with half of this being paid by a personal interest free loan and interest only is paid on the remaining balance in a private mortgage agreement with the farmer.
A multi purpose sports hall has been designed and will broaden the range of activities offered on site and facilitate indoor options when we experience poor weather.
This building would also serve as an extra large room for one off events. This phase will be started as the Lord provides the funds.
Plans for a new lake and surrounding buildings have been drawn up which will provide accommodation for staff workers, trainees, volunteers and paying guests.
A book cafe with seating area, cafe area and creative breakout rooms on the ground Floor. Accommodation for onsite workers will be on the first floor.
A canoe store with drying room and accommodation above is planned along side the current Lake.
A reception and store room with storage, office and accommodation will be situated further up the drive, that will assist with security of the site.
